Where Do We Fish?
Well that is a good question.
We like to follow the fish and offer you the best chance to catch a fish of a lifetime!
My favorite spots include:
Colpoys Bay, a long fiord type bay running from Wiarton to the Islands off Big Bay.  This Bay is the clearest blue water
you will find, with clarity to over 40 feet!  The bay is lined with the cliffs of the Niagara escarpment and boast some of
the most picturesce scenery in Eastern North America.  While the fishing is not as good as the hey days of the 80’s, it
still boasts some great Salmon and Rainbow fishing, due to the efforts of some amazing members of 2 or 3 local fishing
clubs.  Lake Trout is making a comback as well due to the stocking efforts of the Ontario MNR.
Colpoys has a great spring, summer and fall fishery!
Lake Erie, is one of the world’s most incredible Walleye and Rainbow fisheries.  Thanks to declining quotas and
increased support of the American DNR officials, Lake Erie is ebounding to become one of the Nation’s greatest marine
resources.  We are within driving distance of incredible fishing grounds of Long Point, Port Burwell, Port Bruce and Port
Glasgow.  As the Walleye and Rainbows move alnog the coast...so do we.
Lake Huron, has a great spring salmon and rainbow fishery and the native Lake Trout is making an amazing come
back.  We fish the Bluewater Anglers Derby each spring and make several runs to the waters between Kettle Point and
Blue Point to chase the spring fishery.
Lake Ontario,  The Salmon capital of Ontario.  The warm summer months find the larger chinooks cruising the waters
off Bronte.  The past few years have seen an amazing resurgance in not only the chinooks but also the US stocked
Rainbows.
